Impact Ministry HUB ministries require a private and confidential relationship in which the client can feel safe to talk about his/her experiences and concerns. Therefore, all contact with the members of Impact Ministry HUB ministry and any information that a client shares with our prayer team is treated as 100% confidential.

Furthermore, we will not answer questions of any kind about a client’s case from anyone outside of this ministry, even to deny or confirm that a client has contacted us or had any prayer sessions with us, without that client’s written permission. Again, this is to ensure that any spiritually afflicted client feels secure in knowing that his/her shared information is kept 100% private.

There are, however, three exceptions to confidentiality that Federal and State law requires us to accept. They include reporting child, elder and dependent adult abuse, and the so-called "duty to protect."

3 EXCEPTIONS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL & STATE LAW

1.) We are required that when a client poses a clear and present danger of harm to him/herself or to others, that all parties must be informed.

2) In accordance with the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) (Jan. 1996 version), 42 U.S.C. 5101, et seq. and applicable state laws, we are required to immediately report to the proper authorities when we have reasonable cause to suspect that a child (a person under 18 years of age) has been subjected to abuse, sexual abuse, or neglect.

3) Finally, in accordance with law, our spiritual counselor-client relationship with you unfortunately does not have the status of privileged communication in law. Thus, clients can have their confidential communications disclosed in court-of-law without their permission. Should an attempt be made to subpoena counseling records, we will consult our legal counsel before taking any action and make all reasonable legal efforts within our ability to resist such subpoena. The client will be notified in advance, if possible, of any compliance with a court order.

DISCLAIMER

This ministry does not provide professional counseling, medical, psychiatric, psychological, or social work services. We are a group of ministers performing a ministry of love based on prayer, biblical principles, Christian principles derived from scripture, personal experiences and teachings. Trainings, activations, information, opinions, recommendations, advice, or counseling provided by our team members are designed to support you, not replace or substitute, the relationship that exists between a physician or health care professional and patient, a mental health professional and client. Never discontinue treatment or medication without first consulting your physician, clinician or therapist. We believe in JESUS + THERAPY, that God has anointed men and women to be able to assist you in your life's journey. It should be noted, however, that there are many times when deliverance prayers lead the afflicted client to professional counseling, and that counseling is, in fact, God’s answer to our prayers. Clients must be ready and willing to go where God leads them in this process for it to be fruitful. We do not "replace" church but ungird by providing a training ground for deeper understanding the acts of the spirit.
